Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 9.5 miles. Driving directions from LAX: Follow signs to take the SR 1 ramp to Sepulveda Blvd northbound. Bear left onto Lincoln Blvd and go about 6.5 miles. Turn left on Pico Blvd, then turn right on Ocean Ave. The hotel is on the right. Getting there: The best option from the airport is a shuttle ($16–25; fees subject to change without notice) or a rental car. Getting around: Santa Monica is a pedestrian-friendly community, and there are several shops, restaurants, and attractions within a short walk of the hotel. A community shuttle (less than $5; fees subject to change without notice) loops through town and is a good way to reach other Santa Monica locations. For destinations in the greater LA area, a rental car is the best option.
